Just a little update to let you all know that we have arrived safely in Romania. We have been here a little over a week, and still adjusting to time differences and cultural differences. In a way, it feels like we never left, and yet we see changes that have occured since our departure in October of last year.
Robert and William started to work right away, getting water into the house the very day we arrived. What a blessing to be able to have water so quickly. Robert had a little mishap, and William and Jody were able to utilize their EMT skills, but that didn't keep him down. He is all healed up now. Thank you all for your prayers. Robert and William have begun finishing the inside of one of the cabins, in preparation for the group coming August 6. We are all excited about their arrival. We were so glad to see our neighbors. They greeted us with vegetables and Jody cooked up a pot of soup right away. It's so great to be home. Today we were able to fellowship with our Romanian home church, Stanca. It was a great time of fellowship. Robert gave greetings from all of you to them. We do not have internet at our home, but we can get access usually about once a day. Due to the speed of the internet service, we are unable to send pictures at this time, but as soon as possible, we will send some. Our prayers are with you and we will continue to count on your prayers, as we continue with the planned construction, youth meetings and working with our neighbors. We miss you all already, but we are truly excited about being back 'home'.
