Greetings to all of you our family and friends. Our sincere apologizes for not being able update our blog as frequently as we would like. We are still struggling trying to get internet at the house.
God has blessed us in so many ways in the last month. Not only has our team increased by a new member, Tierney Williamson, that arrived near the end of August. Her and Ashley got busy helping the guys dig ditches and getting in on the "fun". Our neighbor came to spur them on.
They have also been very busy working in one of the local village churches, singing, giving testimony and teaching the children. Jody was sharing a song here in one of the village churches.
There are alot of preparations also made before winter and the team of youth that have been staying with us were a great help in making jam, and canning for winter. We also had Mark Walker along with his nephew come to visit and deliver a camper for the camp. They got to help with the jam while they were visiting.
The barn has now been completely down with the concrete poured. Here are a few pictures of some of the work. We are so thankful for the people God has sent to help with this, so that a place can be provided to teach eternal values in the future.
We also were blessed to have a team of men led by Curt Swank (EBF member) from Sawyer Highlands Church in Michigan come to help at the camp and the church. These men were an extreme encouragement as they worked from daylight till dark, building a nursery and blacony at the church; building a deck, plumbing the camp kitchen, pouring cement at the camp, building a well house and fixing a dryer part.
Last week, Robert had the great honor of assisting Pastor Simon in baptizing 3 of our youth from Stanca. We ask that you uphold these young people in your prayers as they continue to let their lights shine. It was also an encouragment to have Bob Klint (EBF member), Leon and Cody from Sawyer present during the baptism.
After the baptism, Bob and Robert had the opportunity to have a meeting to discuss further minstry opportunities.
Thanks for posting - great to see familiar faces, and hear how God is answering our prayers for you and your team.
