I Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Greetings to you all, once again! We can't believe that it has already been several weeks since our last update. We have been staying very busy, and in full swing with ministry and camp projects. Thank you all for your prayers, encouragement and support! We have some pictures we would like to share with you about what has been going on here since mid-March.

We will start with our first Sunday evening fellowship in March, at Ighisu Vechi (Windsor's Fair Haven camp) and work our way up to May!

Since mid-March, we have been meeting every other Sunday evening at Windsor's Fair Haven camp in Ighisu Vechi, and inviting our teens from Nocrich to join also, except Easter, when we had a special program with our Ghijasa kids. We have a great time of fellowship with Lenuta, and Ilie (the two professing Christians in our village) along with our youth. We have a time of singing, snacks, a word of encouragement by Robert from the Bible, and usually some kind of game, like volleyball or foosball! Thanks for your continued prayers as we seek more people in the village to come and share in this time.

Youth in Nocrich

While we were in the States, our leaders from the camp last year, continued with the youth in Nocrich, and started a Christian service project to minister to the widows from the church. We continued this project every other Wednesday night, and then had our Bible study on the next Wednesday night. Here, the youth are preparing the soil for planting for one of the widows of our church that struggles with health issues.

When the opportunity arrises, we continue to minister to the elderly and widows of the church. Most recently, the we visited with a long time member that is bed-ridden and unable to attend church. The youth sang songs, and we prayed with her to encourage her.

We continue to meet with the youth in Nocrich every Wednesday and have begun studying Jesus' words and teachings in the gospels.
Easter was a particularly difficult time, as a cousin of several of our youth, died after 3 weeks of trying to recuperate from a tragic car accident caused by drunk driving. The 18 year old that was driving drunk died on impact and his body was burnt beyond recognition. Sorin, the son of one of the faithful members of our church, died 3 weeks later, after fighting for his life. This tragedy has brought many questions to our youth and we have spent a lot of time with them and the families involved. The father is unsaved and in the past has been vehemently opposed to his wife's involvement in the church. Now the father is attending church, and spoke with us last week, expressing that the church is the only place he can go to find peace. We appreciate your prayers for this family and the youth that are related to him, and the others that knew him well. The mother's testimony is an example to us all, as she stated to her husband that even if God were to take all her children, she would not forsake her Lord. She has a younger son, 3 years old, and a daughter 11 that has been involved in our program. The family of the boy that died on impact, was said to have cursed God. We pray for the salvation of their souls and peace in their hearts.

Bob Klint, our EBF president, and his wife Melissa, have been visiting here in Romania since late March. We have enjoyed sharing the ministry with them while they have been here. They are working in the Cisnadie Stanca church while they are here, and we have been blessed to get to spend some time with them. Bob preached on Easter at the Nocrich church and later visited with the family that had lost the son, read Psalms 23 and prayed with the parents over the casket.

Ghijasa de Jos

We are continuing with our weekly program at Ghijasa de Jos. We meet on Fridays. From mid-March until the present we have been working on our spring program. In the picture below, you will see Alexandra and Toader that are helping with the projects. They are from our youth group in Nocrich. Alexandra is teaching the preschoolers and preparing them for the creation play for May. Toader is helping Robert with the boys' projects learning how to work together and learning a Christian work ethic. Jody is teaching the girls a discipleship course to the 5 girls that have made a profession of faith. Purity is the topic of discussion and all the children are working on learning songs in English and Romanian that are Bible verses, and also memorizing Bible verses in English and Romanian.

Dia, the second from the left on the front row, also has continued meeting with 3 of the other girls even week, and reading in the book of John, singing songs, and memorizing Bible verses. It is so exciting to hear her tell me about their Bible study and see the difference that Christ is making in the lives of these children. Please continue to pray for all these children. Also on the front front row from the right, the first and second children, sitting on the laps of the others, are new attenders.

At Easter, we had a special evening meal with the kids from Ghijasa here at Windsor's Fair Haven camp, and a time of fellowship, songs, and games. Lenuta joined us and encouraged the kids to give their hearts to Jesus.

We are so excited to have our son, William, home for a visit. He arrived in March and the Nocrich youth went with us to pick him up at the airport. Even though the airport is only an hour away, it was the first time they had ever been there.

William is pictured above on the back row center. He has been a great encouragement to the youth in Nocrich, the children in Ghijasa and especially to the projects at the camp.

Thank you for your continued prayers concerning the ongoing camp projects. When we are not busy with the meetings with the children, youth and neighbors, we are continuing to work on the camp. Robert, Toader and William have finished the plumbing and electrical for the 7 rooms above the new dining hall. They also installed the interior walls and the insulation and drywall. Now they will work on the mudding, sanding, painting, and getting the floor coverings and furniture. We will keep you updated on the continued progress.

Another update is soon in the coming so stay tuned!! God bless you and your service for our King. May He reign in your hearts above all else! Prayers and Blessings, until next time!
