February update

Hello Dear Friends and Family. The Lord has been with us through many doctors' appointments, testing, and decisions concerning our future and Randy's. The most recent news is that we plan to leave for Romania as a family, next week sometime after February 21. We are waiting on a final heart test for Randy in order to be cleared by the doctors. We plan on staying for 3 weeks. The purpose is to take care of some necessary paperwork, a trial for Randy, and re connect with our students and churches. We ask that you pray with us for the necessary funding for this endeavor, as well as, the safety, health issues with Randy, and sweet fellowship as we connect again with our Romanian brothers and sisters in Christ.

Proverbs 3:5, 6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths!

This is our hope and prayer as we step out once again in faith, knowing that our Father guides us in those things that are for our good and His glory.

When we return at the end of March, we will prepare for our EBF conference scheduled to be held at our home sending church, East Side Baptist. We will also be pursuing further investigation to help Randy with his severe chest narrowing at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio.

As of now, Riley Children's Hospital is unable to further treat or assist in finding relief for Randy with the chest and spine issues. All of the doctors that have examined Randy remained baffled that he can still be living day in and day out with areas of his chest that have now narrowed to only an inch. We serve an amazing God that watches over us and leads us in ways we may not understand now. However, we can be confident that His plan is perfect.

Please pray for the youth in Nocrich,  and Ghijasa as we prepare to reconnect with them.

Especially please pray for Ioana, one of our village students, as we work with her family and attempting to allow her to enlist in the Christian High school for this fall.

Thank you for your  continued support and prayers. May the Lord richly bless you all.
