Leaving from North Carolina!

We arrived safely in Romania after an eight hour delay and a few issues in Germany, and after missing our connection due to mechanical issues. Randy gets much needed rest in Germany during our delay. What a blessing!

We were able to get to the camp fairly quickly, and get things settled in, During our first month, we reconnected with neighbors, purchased the adjacent property, reunited with the Nocrich and Stanca churches, and did lots of cleaning, mowing, and repairs to prepare the camp and house of the summer ministries.

Robert reconnecting with neighbors                            Lots of grass to cut!!

Our first Sunday with a car full for church!!                                      Ilie and his new colt.

Jody with neighbor, Mioara, that came to church with her husband. Praying for her sister who has stage 4 cancer. Randy loving on neighbors!

Will Tyler arrived mid-May                                    Will helping with a project for Ilie.

Working on demolition of the barn. God was gracious and no one was hurt.

The majority of the old barn is down.
Now it is all down. Robert taught about how it is necessary to remove the old, torn down things in our lives in order to allow the Lord to renew us. Eph. 4:22-24 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Will Tyler arrived in mid May and stayed for about 3 weeks to help with the demolition of the old barn on the new property (see pics above) in order to provide a new and safer entrance to the camp. However, I believe the Lord used him, and blessed him through many visits to neighbors (see picture with Ilie), Sibiu and nearby towns for youth activities and camps.

Some have asked what has changed with the war.  The police immigration office is usually full of Ukrainians when we have need to visit there. It was necessary for us to renew Randy's visa and we were able to pray with and encourage some of them. It was good to see and hear that their needs are being met globally for housing, food, and education.

We do see a great deal of military movement coming right past our house. I tried to upload some videos, but I was unable. Below are a few pictures of what we see every few days.

God continues to remind us that labor is good and necessary for our body and souls, and for the furtherance of His kingdom. We are blessed to be His laborers here in Ighisu Vechi at Windsor's Fair Haven Conference Center.
