 Jan-April 1

Proverbs 16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directed his steps.

Planning has never worked real well for us with all the unexpected changes in our schedules, unknowns of different health issues, and just the laid back society we live in here in Romania, but in January, we had plans. God had better ones, that took us until now to see, but we trust Him and are so very thankful for His plans that are for our good and His glory.

Robert kept busy finishing up his last month with Tuader in January and continuing to work 12-16 hour days on the bathhouse project (see pictures and videos below) and the new Chapel area. He and Tuader removed walls, installed doors, and poured the floor of the new chapel. After Ilie saw the new chapel, he was so excited for Ighisu to be able to have its own place of worship, he started inviting other family. One other family has visited from time to time. Please pray for this new family, as the husband is not yet a believer, and their 2 children. Weekends, he would either be at Nocrich, Stanca, or teaching in Ighisu for the Sunday morning Bible studies.

Between ministry of meeting with moms, teaching English, and helping on camp projects, Jody worked hard to make all the arrangements to get Randy's needed hearing aids in January with a planned short trip (2 weeks) back to North Carolina.

Hours and numerous calls, texts, and emails assured her, she and Randy would not be gone for long. As soon as they arrived, after a challenging trip there with oxygen issues, the doctor's office rescheduled the needed sedated hearing test for Randy and couldn't get him in for another 2 months.

Randy had also fractured his lower leg in January while still in Romania, so other doctor appointments and limited mobility were necessary. They remained on a waiting list, but without much hope.

Jody and Randy had other doctor visits, and stayed busy helping at churches. visiting dear friends and supporters, and caring for Randy.

During the time that Jody was waiting, very difficult news came that Ali was having some serious complications with her pregnancy and they experienced a miscarriage. The Lord provided for Jody and Randy to be able to drive a borrowed car and be there the next day to help with the needs, and also speak with the William and Ali's children's class at East Side on a Wednesday night.

Randy had his hearing tests, received an amazing blessings of not just the one hearing aid, but 2 hearing aids, that they had fervantly asked prayer for. Randy's leg healed and he was approved for return to Romania.

Jody and Randy returned on April 1 to Romania, after a very difficult trip back. Jody because ill and at one point, one of the airport staff in Switzerland tried to take off with Randy by herself. They were all so happy to be reunited and recover from the trip.

May the Lord continue to bless you all as you serve our Father. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers.
