Greetings on this first official day of spring in Romania, March 1, 2012! We had wonderful weather today but snow in the forecast the rest of the week.
Just to catch you all up a bit. December 28, Jody and William flew back to the States to get William settled into his new place in Maryland. The Lord has blessed him with a good job, and he is saving money to go to college this fall to continue working on his Bio-Medical Engineering degree. Robert and Randy stayed in Romania working on a project for the camp house, and continued with the ministry work in the village and at the church.
A special thanks to everyone that hosted Jody and/or William during her stay in the States. Thank you all for your special gifts and allowing her to share the ministry in Romania with you all.
Since Jody's return the first week of February, we started English classes again in Ghijasa de Jos. It was a wonderful reunion with the kids, being able to get a little sledding in while reviewing some English words, like "faster".

The kids have remembered a few of the Bible verses from last year. We enjoy spending time with kids and teaching them English using the Bible.
Also, we have started a youth group at our little village church that we attend close to our home. We only had 4 teens come the first meeting. We have always trusted God to bring those He desires to be involved. The next meeting our attendance doubled to 8! What a blessing and opportunity for us to be able to work with these teens.

Jody continues to read the Bible to our neighbor, Lenuta. They enjoy their prayer times and every once in a while another neighbor may come to visit and sit in on the prayer and reading.
Our neighbor, Ilie, has come to know the Lord as his Savior in December. He prayed with us and it was such a blessing and honor to be a part of this decision. His baptism is scheduled for Sunday. Be watching for pictures to come with our next blog posting. He will be the first baptized "Pocahit" (Christian) in our village!
