As some of you may remember, we had Stefan, originally from Ghijasa de Jos, living with us for a short time period last summer, before having to return to his uncle in Sibiu. Since that time, we had updated you that Stefan had been moved to a boys' home about an hour from the camp. He is doing well, attending school and finishing up the school year there, in the hopes of returning to Sibiu in the fall to continue his education. A very important part of our ministry is to continue to visit and encourage former students. While Will and Gerri LaRose were here, we were able to visit Stefan in the boys' home. He was also at the spring camp with the kids from Ghijasa de Jos, and behaved very well. We try to see Stefan at least monthly. Please continue to pray for Stefan. James 1:27 is very clear concerning our responsibilities as Christians to orphans and widows. Stefan exhibits many autistic tendencies and has major obstacles to overcome, but we are blessed to be able to be used by God to encourage him.
