Greetings from Ighisu Vechi, Romania from Windsor's Fair Haven Conference Center!! We greet you with II Thessalonians 3:16 Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
It has been almost a year since our return to Romania and God has blessed and protected us in so many ways during this time. We have seen the evidence of His Word working in the hearts of churches, students, neighbors, and friends. From the visit of construction helpers (Will Tyler) last year to VBS (with Parkview. Baptist, NC) , through numerous training conferences throughout the summer,
church camp days, and young adult camps, and Jody's near death sepsis last summer and ultimately the separation of our family through her subsequent stateside surgery last fall, God has been gracious and faithful through it all. It was a delight and privilege to spend Christmas together with our Romanian families, even though we dearly missed our friends and family in America!
Since the beginning of the year, God answered our request for a full-time employee to help with the necessary camp updates and renovations, by giving us Tuader and supporters to provide a little over 1/2 of his years' salary. There is still a need for the other half of the year. He and Robert work about 10 hours daily on dissassembling the current men's and women's bathrooms, the new septic, the water issues, and other projects.
These are the previous men's and women's bathroom and shower house. The below picture is the dining hall as Tuader and Robert attempt to salvage as much as possible to reuse in the bathrooms. As of today, the roof and rest of the walls are down and the flooring is beginning to be removed.
One of those other projects (unplanned) was our front wall, which fell just a day after 2, 5.4 earthquakes shook our nearby areas here in Romania. Thankfully, no one was hurt and it didn't damage any of our foundational walls.

The finished product just after a few days. Thankful for God's watchcare over everyone and no injuries.
With the weather breaking, Robert has been also preparing our trees for spring, cutting and trimming them. Last week, he fell about 20 feet with the chainsaw running, and miraculously landed on his feet (yes, very cat like)! We thanked God for His protection and all of you for your continued prayers that keep us safe. He is continuing to work as long as he doesn't have to lift much, until his sprained back feels better. God was gracious in protecting Robert.
Last Sunday, while Robert was preaching during his scheduled time at the Cisnadie church, The Rock, word came that a previous student from over 20 years ago, had also fallen in Spain, a little higher than Robert's fall, but fractured his skull in two different places and his spine, is in a coma and not sure if he will survive. Please pray for Rueben. This was a great reminder of what could have happened and God's protection. Robert's message was praying for those that have claimed the name of Christ, but are wandering in the wilderness and how we should continue in steadfast prayer for them. Ruben is one of these young people still wandering. Please pray for his soul. Robert is scheduled to speak monthly at both the village and city church. The other Sundays, we meet here in Ighisu with believers.
Jody has been teaching English and started a very small adult Romanian literacy program several times a week. Please pray as she shares the Gospel with these students in practical ways. She also is the material's hander and responsible for ordering material for camp projects, communication's officer, and chief cook and bottle washer!! She participates in the worship services usually sharing a song or several at the different churches and Bible study meetings at the camp. She also visits with the widows in the village and other young mothers, sharing the great things God has done.
As God has continued to lead in the ministry here, He has led us to be an encouragement and visit with our previous students that are now parents and have their own families. We are excited about the continued ministry of working with these numerous couples and young families that are following the Lord and raising their families in the church. We enjoy counseling and encouraging them in the Word.
In April, we will be returning for a short 6 week visit mostly staying in North Carolina, for Randy's required health check ups with his 15 different doctors. We are hoping and anticipating a good report on all appointments, and pray that we would all be cleared to stay for a longer time before further appointments would be necessary. We will keep you posted.
Please continue to pray for Romania and the war in the Ukraine. We still see daily military convoys of manned, armed tanks going past the camp and fear is real. Talk of nuclear strikes make the people shudder, but it does give us the opportunity to share the hope of the Gospel of Christ more boldly to our neighbors and friends.
1. Rueben - healing and turning to the Lord
2. Salvation of unsaved students, neighbors, and widows and encouragement of the saints
3. Churches: The Rock Church in Cisnadie and Grace Church in Nocrich
4. Continued healing for Robert's back
5. Transportation for our time in the States. We are in need of a vehicle, but do not wish to purchase one for such a short time. We need funds to help with the cost of a rental.
6. Randy and Jody's medical check ups.
7. The remainder of Tuader's salary for the year
If you need any further specific amounts for needs or information on financial needs for facility projects, we would be happy to share that with anyone who asks.
Thank you again for your continued love, support, and prayers. We leave you with II Thessalonians 3:1 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Peace and Grace,
Robert, Jody, and Randy Frye
