January 2010
Happy New Year or La Multi Ani as we say here in Romania. What an exciting time to think about all of God's blessings over the last year, and the new blessings and opportunities that God has in store for us in the coming year! This month we begin working on the upper story of the house where the new roof was installed 1 1/2 years ago. This will eventually be our living quarters, to allow more of the lower section for camp use.
February
Jody wanted to put on a Sweetheart's banquet for the church at Stanca. We invited the married couples from the church, had a nice dinner, games, prizes, and a devotional. It was a wonderful time of fellowship bringing our two cell groups together to celebrate God's love in our marriages, and a great closing to our young married couple's cell group study of what the Bible says about marriage.

Although we have been very busy working on construction projects for the camp, we have also been able to bring some of our young married couples out to the camp to not only help with camp construction, but also be a blessing to our neighbors, volunteering to repair things, and read and pray with our unsaved neighbors.
April 2010
Christ is risen! Celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ together with you all. We are praising the Lord for the finished upper story, except a few minor items. There remains alot to be done with the camp construction, but we are eager for warmer and dryer days to get started on these projects.
This month has brought to us our dear friends and members of EBF, Will and Gerri Larose, visiting and encouraging with the construction projects, church visits, and speaking engagements. Our family greeter, Randy, is here making them feel welcome. They are also pictured here visiting with our dear Romanian Pastor Ioan Simon and his sweet wife, Felicia. Gerri has been busy helping around the house and encouraging neighbors, and especially Jody. Will has not only been working putting in the ceiling and walls of the multi-purpose room, but also speaking at churches and praying with neighbors.
