April Showers bring May flowers! We are so happy to welcome spring. The rest of the month of March was a busy and exciting month for us. We were able to start on the speaker's room or otherwise known as the prophet's chamber for the camp. Our hope is to finish this room and bathroom, and start on the last cabin by the end of the month. English classes are continuing to go well. The children are beginning to put sentences together and most importantly continuing to memorize Bible verses. Jody had quite a breakthrough in the English classes last week. While introducing John 3:16 as the verse to memorize, one of the 12 year old boys,
after reading it, said, "That's not true though. I know lots of people that believe in God and they still die!" That began an amazing discussion with the older kids. Jody explained that we were made in the image of God. We have a body, soul and spirit. That spurred on a discussion concerning where sin originated and she was able to get some good discussion in the class. One of the boys said it was Adam's fault, another said it was Eve, another said the serpent. At the end, Jody reminded them of the verse they had already learned, Rom 3:23, and they realized it was all our faults! Jody said it was a moment that teacher's only dream of!
The third week of March, we hosted the "Little Explorers" training camp here at Windsor's Fair Haven.
Please pray for this next month and especially for our upcoming Easter program scheduled for Easter Sunday evening in Ghijasa de Jos. Robert will be presenting the gospel message and include a video of the children and what's been going on in class. Our prayers continue for you all.
We are so looking forward to our upcoming visit with Joy LaRose. She will be arriving at our house April 8 and helping with the ministry for about 6 weeks.
May God bless you and may you all have a blessed Easter. Our prayers are with you all.
