Thank you all for your prayers for Randy and for us during our second week here in Romania! Randy started feeling better Sunday, and has been able to go with us this week, to take care of necessary paperwork, taxes, health insurance, repair parts, and visits. He is still having some digestive difficulties. We had some blood tests and should have the results next week.
Praise the Lord that the mice and birds have been evicted, the well cleaned, some electrical and water pipe issues resolved, and the vehicles in for repairs. All of this seems like mud on our tires, for the real purpose of being here, to reconnect with our students for continued counseling and discipleship.
However, in the midst of all of this, we were able to have Dia and Cristina over for the weekend. It was a great time of fellowship and Bible based faith discussions. How exciting to see how God has worked in growing these two tender plants in their faith. Their questions show that they are learning and seeking the Truth.
The rest of this week, we plan on spending some time with our Ghijasa kids, and completing the East Side Baptist church AWANA project of boots and socks for them. We were able to touch base with a few of them and are excited to see them and encourage them. Please pray for Ioana as she has much pressure from her parents about not attending the Christian high school. She seemed very discouraged when we initially met with her. It would take a miracle to change her mother's hardened heart. Also we will reconnect with several more of our students and Lord willing, at the end the week fellowship with our village church in Nocrich, and Stanca in Cisnadie Sunday evening.
Thank you for your continued prayers. We will continue to keep you updated. May God richly bless you.
