Leaving Soon.

We have been staying busy since our last posting. Thank you to all who have prayed and are praying for us, and for Randy.

Hebrews 10:24–25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and ball the more as you see the Day drawing near.

As previously mentioned, we planned on spending more time with our students, and were very thankful that the Lord allowed that. After school, we met with the Ghijasa de Jos students twice this last week. The AWANA project of purchasing and delivering boots and other items was also complete.  Three of our Ghijasa students, as well as, one from Nocrich and Sibiu stayed at the camp with us for the weekend. Tuader, Robert's right hand man, also helped all week getting the camp, and lighthouse back in order. Robert taught him about some plumbing and electrical issues. Denisa and Ioana were second to arrive after Tuader, for the weekend. It was wonderful being able to renew and remind them of their decision for Christ. Ioana is open to going to the Christian high school after spending time with Cristina over the weekend. We also had an opportunity to speak in depth with Ioana's mother. She says she remains open to Ioana attending the Christian high school! Thank you for your prayers. The Lord gave us the opportunity to take a group of the parents back to the village and also reconnect with them.

During the weekend, Randy got his train ride in. The students were happy to accompany he and Robert to a nearby city. This is the weekend group at the train station getting ready to purchase tickets. It was exciting for all of them, since none had ever ridden a train before, and it only cost $1.50 per ticket! Too bad the trains don't go to all the villages and towns!

It was wonderful having the van full on our way to the 2 churches on Sunday morning and evening. Dia and Cristina gave their testimonies and did a wonderful job. Robert preached and shared an update, and Jody sang with Cristina and Dana.

After the busy weekend, Pastor Simon and his wife treated us to dinner out. The fellowship was sweet. It is our honor to serve alongside these faithful servants!
Saying goodbye has been very difficult. Randy also is struggling with mixed feelings. Over the last few days Randy has had increasing difficulty and severe pain at times, when eating. He has lost another 2 pounds. We do have a doctor at Riley that has seems to have taken a special interest in Randy's case. He has ordered further tests that have not previously been performed. Thank you and please continue to pray for him and us about the future.

Also please pray especially for Dia and Cristina as the Lord continues to grow and nourish them through the local church, Stanca, and the Christian high school. Also continue to pray for the children of Ghijasa.
Please also pray for the expenses necessary to repair the water pipes, electrical issues, and vehicle repairs. We had hoped to sell one or both of the vehicles but have decided against it at this time.
Leaving is bittersweet. It will be wonderful to be reunited with all of you that are State side, but we will also dearly miss all those that remain here.
