 January-March 2021

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

These past few months have been busy with continuing to connect to our students, pastors, and churches virtually due to continued Covid restrictions. Thank the Lord for high speed internet in Romania!! Dia, one of the girls that we sponsored to get through high school at the Baptist high school, announced her coming wedding in April. Cristina continues to attend college, work through the church, and is also involved in worship team music through vocal and guitar. She also spends much of her time preparing for counseling during summer camps. The churches we work in and through, Stanca in Cisnadie, and Grace Church in Nocrich have had outbreaks of Covid, and severe restrictions limiting service availabilities. Please continue to pray for these beloved churches and students. Our original students are now grown with families of their own and most are an integral part of their local churches. Some have strayed, and we pray especially for them.

These months we are preparing for Robert's departure. The darkness, restrictions, and hopelessness expressed by so many, push us towards more obedience and a desire to return to help the people God has called us to. Robert is scheduled to leave the last day of February.

We continue to assist in our local church here in Morehead City, NC, as the Lord allows. Robert has been very busy preparing the residence here for his departure, so Jody and Randy would not have any maintenance issues. Jody was able to work for about 3 months online, to assist in providing the necessary funds to finish the necessary renovations of an update HVAC system, roof repairs, and cement, and driveway. Looking ahead to being apart for almost 6 months, seems impossible, but God has continued to compel us to return to the work, share the Gospel in the darkness of the Covid, and encourage the believers.

Randy has been having some serious knee issues after a misdiagnosis after a fall last year. Jody will be continuing to seek treatment for him in the hopes that they can join Robert after Randy's treatment.

We continue to pray for you all and thank God upon every remembrance of you all.
